Altirium launch improved optical media data recovery service

Optical media (DVD, CD, MO disk) tend to fall at the lower end of the data recovery service market in that the the costs for recovery cannot always be justified even though with some problems the work required far outstrips that for a hard disk or tape recovery.

Altirium have just released their latest Optical Recovery Suite for their data recovery engineers to enable them to keep the costs for recovery low by improving automation of the service and reducing the human time required, all this without any degradation of the result.

These latest tools still require a detailed understanding of the data storage format but allow Altirium to bring data recovery services to areas of the market where it was not previously economically viable.
